About me

Objective ∙ I’m a technology-proficient artist with a passion for staying on the bleeding edge of what’s possible with graphic creation. A Purdue University Computer Graphics Technology graduate, I’m knowledgeable in all parts of the production pipeline, with specific skills in lighting/shading, general illustration, and character creation. I’m seeking a position with a production company to make use of my technological applications of artwork, focusing on graphic design, but knowledgeable enough in other parts of the pipeline to be a highly effective link between teams.

Education BACHELOR OF SCIENCE | MAY 2016 | PURDUE UNIVERSITY ∙ Major: Computer Graphics Technology ∙ Related coursework: In addition to my studies focusing on digital art at Purdue, I also took studio art courses at Indiana University Southeast, enhancing my traditional art skills. Skills & Abilities

SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE ∙ I have in-depth experience with a wide variety of graphic design tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Maya, and After Effects. I also have additional experience working in Zbrush and Unreal Engine 4, with knowledge of the entire production pipeline for film and games.

TECHNOLOGICAL BACKGROUND ∙ I have 12+ years of building custom computers, as well as diagnosing and fixing hardware and software problems for those computers, giving me extremely valuable real world experience if any issues arise during production. ∙ I’m comfortable working in Windows, Macintosh, and Linux, and would require very little training in that regard, only needing to be explained the basics of whatever environment is used in production.

COMMUNICATION ∙ I’m well versed in all steps in game and movie production pipeline, allowing for effective communication between departments. I’ve been gaming most of my life, exploring every genre, and know the terminology and technology that goes into every piece of the puzzle that makes a great game.

LEADERSHIP ∙ I spent 3 years as a team leader at one of the highest-grossing Chick-Fil-A franchises in the US, gaining valuable leadership and time management skills. These skills were further refined during my time as a Dormitory Residential Advisor at Indiana University Southeast.
